The latest twist for Zero Carbon

"The Lib Dems have had a rough time lately. After the disastrous results in the local and European elections, it’s not a surprise to see them trying to put more distance between themselves and the Tories on some of their core issues. And even though I don’t think Nick Clegg is a natural greenie, much of the Lib Dems core constituency, are. Admittedly not a very scientific metric, but their party conferences still attract the highest sandals-per-delegate ratio of any of the main parties.

So in advance of the Queen’s Speech, the Lib Dems attempted to salvage their green credentials by claiming to have delivered on the promise for all homes to be zero carbon from 2016..."
