Online Toolkit for Compliance with Low Carbon Planning Requirements

This is an online tool (Enplanner) which produces authoritative energy statements for new building developments in the UK. It is designed for non-technical users and to enable users rapidly to experiment with different combinations of energy efficiency and onsite renewables. It provides the comparative costs and benefits of different options, specific to the development, in carbon and financial terms.

Enplanner includes a database of all UK planning policies relevant to onsite renewables. It is free to use for all UK local authorities, although there is a small per use charge for project developers and advisers.

The tool includes online help and video tutorials.
