Ecobuild 2014: What do child-friendly cities look like, and why do they matter?

What do child-friendly cities look like, and why do they matter? Discussed at Ecobuild 2014 by Tim Gill, Rethinking Childhood.

Cities need to work for incredibly diverse age, ability and cultural groups. This is challenging, as what works for one group may not work for another. As city demographics change we need to provide for children and young people while also ensuring that older age groups can remain independent and active. This seminar will explore ideas to make our towns and cities friendly and liveable places for all.
