Footprint: the world's first responsible real estate fund

The igloo Regeneration Partnership responded to the problem of "business as usual" by developing a set of sustainable investment policies called Footprint. Footprint has fundamentally changed the way that igloo schemes are designed, specified, built and managed.

The igloo investment fund is managed by Aviva Investors to invest in the physical regeneration of the UK's top 20 cities and has been described by the United Nations as the world's first responsible real estate fund. This has been achieved through the development of the unique Sustainable Investment (SI) Policy.

The Fund is committed to a policy of Sustainable Investment (SI) that will deliver long-term social, economic and environmental benefits whilst delivery acceptable financial returns.
