Low Impact Material Case Studies: Natural Fibre Insulation

Low Impact Material Case Studies: Natural Fibre Insulation

A case study produced by the University of Bath and the BRE following low impact materials, why they were chosen, what issues were faced, the pros and cons and lessons learnt. This case study follows the use of natural fibre insulation in ‘One Brighton’, a residential development in Brighton.

This is one in a series of five case studies and parallel Information papers on low-impact building materials. The others cover hemp lime, straw bale, unfired clay masonry and natural fibre insulation.
