LIST was developed by BRE, Fitch, DisplayPlan, and Marks & Spencer (M&S), to reduce the impact of retail display products on the environment. LIST, originally funded by the BRE Trust and the partners, allows retailers, designers and manufacturers to evaluate and compare the environmental impacts of shopfitting display materials and equipment from the initial design stage. LIST encourages designers to consider the environmental consequences of the product from the preliminary designs throughout the life cycle of the shopfitting display equipment. LIST has been available since April 2011; anyone interested should contact BRE for further details.
